Camp Invention is a program of the National Inventors Hall of Fame in Ohio, is a collaborative effort among three partners - The National Hall of Fame writes the curriculum, LISC oversees the teacher training and day to day program presentation and the school district provides the space. Camp Invention is a creativity and discovery program where a child’s imagination can run wild. Camp Invention is for girls and boys entering grades 2-5. LISC collaborates with over twenty school districts to present this hands-on experience.
Camp Invention Students use logical and deductive thinking, expand their imaginations, get involved in exploration, enjoy hands-on discovery, develop and test hypotheses, are motivated to experiment, problem solve and test theories, learn to share and work in teams, combine theory and practice, get excited about learning and have fun doing it.
