The Long Island Science Center is open Sundays from 11:00am to 4:00pm year round. Children and their families enjoy exploring the museum for hours. There is a different science activity added to the museum exhibits each week. Families can learn together while they play a game or create a craft to take home. Use the hand pump to run water in the sluice and see how gravity can be manipulated to keep a ball in motion. Say Hello to Wrath, our ball python, and our 12th generation of Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches.
Blow giant bubbles. Build a Catenary Arch. Dig for fossils and be a Meteorologist and forecast the weather in our weather station. Enjoy our hands-on exhibits and an array of activities in our FETCH! activity center.
Admission is only $5.00 per Child and $2.00 per adult, for non-members and FREE for members.
