STEM occupations are the fastest growing job sector in the US with wages that are 30% higher than the national average. By high school, most students have already begun to decide their career path. We are dedicated to developing a passion for STEM and have created technology enrichment programs to help students of all levels to help students recognize a potential passion for technology. These offerings can be done as a single class or a multi-week progressive class and will be available in October 2020.
Codebotics
Bringing coding and robotics to life! Students have a fully hands-on experience of coding and seeing the results as their mini robot comes to life and obeys their commands. Students will understand how a robot functions. No devices needed.

Intro to Scratch
Students will follow along and build their animated story live with the instructor. Learn the building blocks for coding while thinking creatively to solve problems.

From Mind to Design – Intro to 3D Printing
Dream it, build it, print it! The world of 3D printing has endless possibilities. Students will learn the basics of how to use a 3D design program and how a 3D printer works. Optional printing fee is $1.00 per student and a postage fee of $7.95 per class applies if printing is chosen.

Robotics
See your LEGO creations come to life. Learn about simple machines and the basics of computer programming using LEGO Mindstorm and an EV3 brick. This program requires extended or multiple sessions. Supplemental fees apply dependent on format chosen.

INTRO TO GAME DEVELOPMENT
One of the fastest growing in demand skills is the ability to use game development software. Students will explore the world of creation and game development. Students must have access to a device with one of the following operating system Windows, Mac, iOS or Android. Download of software required.

INTRO TO PYTHON turtle pen
Students will be introduced to the exciting world of computer programming through Python Turtle Pen. Students will learn some basic skills in the program and have fun seeing their lines of code come to life! Students must have access to a device with internet connection and browser.

cybersecurity
Students will learn about the importance of how to keep personal information private in the digital world and about techniques hackers use to get information. They will test their password making skills, play a social engineering game and try their hand at encryption using our cryptography code.
